You lost a son and brother, some lost a friend, the people of Israel and Jews around the world lost a hero who can make people smile and always did what’s right

My name is Giulio, I am a 32 year old Christian from Italy, and my heart is with you. There are no words equal to your grief, yet I hope these may carry a little light. Please accept my deepest respect and condolences for the lives your loved ones gave in defense of Israel, and in defense of the values that safeguard the dignity of every human being. Their sacrifice was not only for the people of Israel, but for the good of the entire world, for the right to live free from terror, for the hope that children everywhere may grow up in safety, and for the promise that justice and peace can prevail.

I will remember every daughter, son, wife, husband, mother, and father who gave their life for freedom in my prayers, and I extend my prayers to every family member whose loss cannot be measured. I hold you close in thought, and I stand with you in gratitude, sorrow, and unshakeable solidarity.
