I am a half-Israeli girl writing from Mexico. I want to thank your child for their heroic service and sacrifice. The bravery of the IDF is simply astounding. Without heroes like your child, the beautiful State of Israel would not exist. Losing a loved one is the most gut wrenching experience a person can go through, and I know that nothing can make the pain go away, but I hope you know that your loved one is being cradled in the arms of God, lovingly and tenderly, and is being cared for by God in all His splendor. Giving your life to the Holy Promised Land is a guaranteed ticket into the warm embrace of God and one day when God decides you will all be sweetly reunited. For now, I send you all my love and a warm hug. You are not alone; hate can never dim our light. We are survivors and will never back down. We are in this together.
