I look at the photo of your son / sibling and I see a confident, sweet, kind person. I didn’t know Dolev, but if I did, I know we would be close friends.

Always looking for any way to help others..volunteering at such a young age to save lives..that’s not a small thing- that’s someone very special. You must have been so proud of him.

I can’t imagine the loss you feel – to lose someone so special but know that he lived a hero and died a hero. Remember and take comfort in knowing that his legacy & his amazing qualities – they are a part of you now – engrained in you– Dolev will always be part of who you are – he will always live on- though you- and will continue to live on through the next generations – through his two siblings kids one day, and then their kids etc.. I look at the photo of your son / brother and I see a confident, sweet, kind person. I didn’t know Neriya, but if I did, I think we would be close friends..joking around, having fun – shooting some hoops together. I’m not really a surfer- but i’m sure he would have been happy to teach me. Besides for the joking around, there would also be serious conversations, advice given, and helping each other out any way we could..it would have been a special friendship.

It’s a special thing to grow up with so many siblings who are close. I’m sure Neriyas leadership qualities as well as his humor and sweetness played a large role in uniting his siblings. I’m sure he was the cause of many good laughs and special memories.

I read an article about Amir and I have decided to do something to honor him. I am so inspired that he was an organ donor after he died, and was saving lives even after he passed away. He was a very respectful and giving person. He passed away at age 20. So for the next 20 days I will try to be as respectful and giving as he was. Hello.
I am a student from NY, and as I was on this site’s page, I saw your son. As I read his story, I realized he was from the reserves and that he had already finished one service, which was incredible. However, after hearing there weren’t enough paramedics from the October 7th incident, he wanted to help again. Because he went out of his way to save people, in his memory, I will try to lend a hand to others. Also, on the site’s page, he had such a genuine smile on his face from saving Israel, so in his memory, I will try to smile more at people.
May his neshama have an aliyah.
