When I read about Rose , and saw her picture I felt that I understood her determination and the wellspring of courage that drove her on a visceral level.
My own mother ( o”h) was named Rose…
And when she earned a special Arts Scholarship ( which allowed her to go to any place in the World at that time to “Study ” , she went to Israel ( then called “Palestine”) under the British…to “study Dance” . Actually , she helped build a road …and other things …with Arab bullets over her head….of course …
So, yes…it takes a very special level of love and Dedication to follow the Path that Your Rosie did tread… with a gentle determination and courage moment by moment ….
My tears fall as I write these words so I must keep my words brief. I DO Believe without any doubt that although separated by Generations of Time and Place in this World , my Mother and your Rosie must undeniably find each other’s soul in the Land of Truth drawn as they are uneaveringly to each other’s soul’s Light clothed in the same glow of intensity and intention for deeds out of Love for our People and a recognition of such Sisterhood that we as mere Mortals in this Land of Opportunities to do G-d’s will…can only but imagine.
