I am American Jew whose son was a chayal boded and volunteered for the 101st Tzanchanim in 2010. I was at גִּבְעַת הַתַּחְמֹשֶׁת when he finished his beret march. We were willing to give up our son in defense of Israel. He knew it could happen. Thank G-d he came home safely. I can’t possibly imagine the sadness you feel about the loss of a child. In reading about the loss of Aviv I could sense the gentleness and goodness of this man.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of Aviv; for his wife Liat and their 3 children-I wish them to be stronger every day and to live a good life.

I can tell that Alon was such a gift of a person to all that knew him. In reading his BIO it is clear that Alon was a giver and a very courageous-full of life guy that lit up a room.
