Dear Family of Dekel Suissa,

Your son was truly a savior of many lives that day. Reading his bio makes me feel an immense amount of courage alone. Dekel was a strong, heroic person. I’m struggling to find the right words to put this in, and I can’t imagine the weight of your grieving.

He was truly special, and he was a dedicated captain. I hope you may be able to find solace in these times, and may you stand tall. Dekel will live in my heart forever, and his memory is a blessing.

Dear Family,
Adar Ben Simon was a wonderful person.She did a lot of mitzvahs. She saved 90 soldiers just by guiding young trainees to shelter.She was described as a light who’s smile lit up the room.She was a true warrior and role model.Even when she was sad she would ignore her own feelings just to lift others spirits and make them laugh. I’m Sylvia Fox,A 7th grader at Donna Klein Jewish Academy and just by reading a few sentences of Adar.I can see that she is a wise,loved and strong person.

Haim was definitely a blessing for you. He was the light of your sky’s, the moon of your night. You must have been really mournful. The way you talked about him in the video, you must be really proud. He was a hero, by saving his friends and risking his life for them. Haim is your life, your everything. Remember that he was everything to his friends, and even though he is dead, he is watching over you, making sure every step you take is one more miracle in your life. Noa was very brave. I read all about it. She may have died but that smile is something that will always stay there. She died at a young age but I bet she had a lovely life growing up. I’m sorry for your loss but imagion all the lives she saved in the process. She may be gone but those memory’s stay there. But thinking about that she died to save others is butiful and I will and I bet you will never forget that.

I just watched the video, and I saw all the passion and dedication Shirel Haim Pour put into her work. Against all odds, Shirel bravely defended the war room head quarters, refusing to leave, showing that she she wasn’t just a 20 year old women, but proving she would never give up for the people she loved. Shirel won’t always be in your memory,but mine as well.

Adir was an amazing, brave, and talented captain. He loved our country so much. Even while fighting or playing soccer, he always lit up the room with his smile. When October 7th hit, he had a great desire to return. Adir was described as a strong and powerful person.

Dear Michael Ben Hamo’s family. Please accept my condolences to your incredible son who risked his life to save others. Being a squad commander is a wild job to take on, but knowing Michael had leadership, courage, and accountability he is the perfect person for that job. It’s so that Michael was 21 when he died, and his memory will always be a blessing.
