Staff Sgt. Gali Roy Shakotai
Dear Family and Friends of Staff Sgt. Shakotai, Please accept my most heartfelt condolences for the loss of Gali. Although we never met, he is my brother and I morn his loss and share your grief as a fellow Jew. As a Jew of the Diaspora I have always held a lifelong pride and love for the Country of Israel and all of its people. Without the sacrifice of brave people like Gali, we would not have a home like Israel and no Jew would ever have a place where we all truly belong. His extreme bravery and skill and your sacrifice have so much meaning to use all and is emblematic of the courage of all of our IDF soldiers. I will light a candle in his honor and will keep Gali in my heart and prayers. May God Bless you and comfort you in these difficult days. Love to you all. George

From his profile, it looks like Lior was fully engaged in life and loved connecting with and helping others. What a tragedy that his life was cut short and that he is gone from his family and community. May they be comforted by memories of him and the knowledge that he helped Israel survive.

Maj. David Nati Alfasi
Reb David,
I am speaking to your wonderful, pure Neshama. Hashem has placed you in very high place in Shamayim. When you went to the Keesay Ha’Kavod, Hashem was already waiting to see such an extraordinary Tsadik who wanted only one thing: to help his fellow Yidden be safe. Now, you are safe as your Neshama is enjoying Gan Eden, and your family, after 120 years, will meet you there. Until then, some of your Neshama is still with your family. Hashem will give them a quick nechama as Hashem will always be there for them.

Maj. (res.) Oren Stern
May the memory of Maj. Stern, who fell defending the innocent from horrible evil, always be a blessing. It is hard to loose a child. It is harder yet to survive the Shoah and then have your son killed by that same evil. May the Lord Himself stand by your side and comfort you and strengthen you and fill you with His indescribable Peace, a Peace that is beyond all human understanding.
Shalom,
Ken Monsey
