When my family left Iran in 1985, most of my family moved to Israel for a better life. They live safely because of brave people like you. May your memory be a blessing. Haimpour family, I pray for Hashem to give you strength during this painful time.

I am a Diaspora Jew who knows your sacrifice was not in vain. I was born and grew up shortly after the Holocaust and was introduced to its horrors via the many survivors I have met and engaged with over the years. I understood then and understand now that the evil represented then by the Nazis and now by Hamas must be stopped by all means necessary. No matter that much of the world wishes us Jews dead and the state of Israel annihilated, we count on you and your fellow IDF members to ensure that never happens. And despite your death at the hands of the enemy, your actions on October 7 will forever be recognized as the epitome of heroism in the defense of our people. My eternal thanks to you, your family, the IDF and all the people of Israel. Am Yisroel Chai.

I share with you my heart break of you losing your beautiful Rose. I learned of her death and watched her funeral through the Jewish Federation of Memphis. As a Southern woman, I can relate to Rose. She sounds like a young version of me. I was called by HaShem to Israel in 2010 for the first time, later again in 2018. I have stood where your Beloved Rose did on her last day here. The South will never forget she is a warrior & hero! Israel as well!
I remember seeing the ceremony as your family spoke of her, and her friends wept along with you. I cried with you as if she was my own sister!
You were truly blessed to have a Rose,
A Rose changes forms but the petals remain,
Floating in the wind you will always hear her name,

In reading about Alina I feel as if a light I never knew was taken from this world and I am deeply sorry that she was someone I won’t have the chance to meet.
