I’m so deeply sorry for your loss and I can’t begin to imagine what you’re going through as a family. Please know that you are in all of our hearts and prayers daily, we may not know each other but we are one great big Jewish family and we love you and support you always! As parents you created an amazing beautiful young woman with a beautiful soul and heart and he had a beautiful smile too, I may never have met him but I will never forget Roey and his incredibly brave actions to save so many lives, wherever we go in the world we will always remember Roey and I will tell my children about him and his incredible actions. I can’t begin to comprehend what you and your family have been going through since losing Roey, just know that he’s in our prayers daily and will always be even when this war is over I’ll never forget his name, beautiful smile and heroic act, he is the most accurate definition of a hero I have ever seen in my lifetime. You truly raised an incredible young man. You’re all in my prayers.

Yarin was a beautiful, brave, and heroic person. I’m glad you had those 20 magical years with her. My sister also passed away from cancer at 20, and I understand how difficult it was for my parents, our older sister and myself. Karen was the youngest in our family. Yet, over the past 23 years, we’ve felt her presence, just as you will feel Yarin’s. Yarin must have been an amazing daughter, medic, Israeli, and person overall. I hope you recognize the signs when she visits you; she sounds like the kind of person who will make sure you do.
