Dear Osher’s parents, Lior, Tikva, and Ori,
Your daughter Osher was a brilliant young lady who fought and served for her family, friends, and Israel. Just like me, Osher had many dreams and ideas she wanted to do, but her life got cut short from October 7th. I don’t know how to express how sorry I am. But let me give you some advise, when you remember her don’t think of the things she didn’t do but the things she did for everyone around her. Once again I am so sorry and she is in a good place.

Dear Meidani Family,
I am Dahlia from the Moriah School in Englewood, New Jersey. I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve heard about Sahar’s story, and I am deeply inspired by his dedication to protecting Am Yisrael. He sounded like a great person with a fun personality and a drive to protect Israelis by joining the IDF. His interest in learning the history of the Golani brigade shows me that he didn’t want to only fight for Israel via ships or planes, but actually save peoples’ lives in person. His quickness to act when the attacks of October 7th broke out reminds me of King David because of his bravery and strength. Now, whenever I learn about King David, I will remember Sahar’s heroism and bravery in battle.
