New England Region

About the New England Chapter

The New England Region was founded in 2003 by Jonathan Leffell and is comprised of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and the eastern part of Connecticut. We have over 6,000 supporters who come from a wide range of professions including medicine, finance, business, academia, and community affairs.

Our Region is proud to support an array of FIDF programs. We have raised a significant amount of money for IMPACT! scholarships and are currently sponsoring 500 students to pursue higher education. Additionally, we are proud to have dedicated a Torah, helped refurbish many synagogues at IDF bases, donated leisure corners for soldier recreation on several bases, and donated two leisure clubs for the artillery brigade located in the Golan Heights. We have also adopted an artillery brigade.

In addition to our Annual Dinner which recently attracted 1,200 attendees and raised almost $1.5 million, we host parlor meetings and an annual women’s breakfast with leading women from a variety of fields. We also participate in national and local missions to Israel to visit soldiers and hear their stories firsthand.
