Young professionals from all across South Florida joined FIDF for an evening of wine, cheese & art. The event, held at South Beach’s art deco luxury Sagamore Hotel, featured a private gallery viewing of their Wonder Woman Exhibit, while attendees enjoyed music from a live DJ and sampled fine wines and assortment of cheeses. The Wonder Woman Exhibit showcased the art of 21 Israeli artist’s introspection of what their definition of a heroine is spanning millennia, from biblical to modern day times; from Anne Frank, Golda Meir to Gal Gadot. The reception also featured Miami’s upcoming abstract artist, Adam Thompson, creating live art throughout the evening.

In addition to wine and art attendees heard from, Sgt. Mauricio Glucksmann, an FIDF IMPACT scholarship recipient who was in attendance. Mauricio shared with the crowd how he escaped from Venezuela to serve in the IDF which lead him to becoming a government student at IDC Herzliya. To cap off the evening, FIDF YL of Miami, welcomed and introduced their new Development Associate, Elana Kashti, to their members.
