Today FIDF staff visited the families of two IDF soldiers injured in last week’s terrorist drive-by shooting in the West Bank. Yesterday they attended the shivas of Corporal Yosef Cohen z”l, 19, and Sergeant Yovel Moryosef z”l, 20, who were killed in the attack.

FIDF stands by the sides of families of the fallen, offering comfort and care when they need it most. Every IDF casualty or injury resonates throughout our chapters as if they were our own sons or daughters. The deceased soldiers served in Kfir, a brigade adopted by FIDF. Our staff brought condolence letters for family members from our supporters and said that the visits were incredibly emotional for all involved.

One of the two wounded soldiers, Netanel Felber, pictured here, is critically wounded and unconscious, battling for his life. His parents describe him as someone who “always came home with a smile that illuminated the house.”

Following the visit, Netanel’s family shared this message for the FIDF community:

"Thank you so much to FIDF for your support for Netanel and every soldier at every stage of their service, even during the hard times. Netanel is still in critical condition, but the support and prayers from around the world have been incredibly helpful and inspiring to our family."
