FIDF at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival!

In February, the Atlanta FIDF Chapter hosted the film “Follow Me – The Yonatan Netanyahu Story” at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. This poignant biography looks at modern-day hero Yonatan Netanyahu, an elite army commando killed in Operation Entebbe and brother of current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The film draws on the soldier’s own prophetic writings that reveal deep-rooted introspection, human frailty and heartfelt passions.

A fascinating Q&A session followed the screening during which guest speakers, including Colonel (Ret.) Pinky Zoaretz (FIDF Deputy National Director) participated in discussions about the IDF and the logistics of Operation Entebbe. It was an enlightening & moving evening for all.

Guest Speakers Included:

• Col. (Ret.) Pinky Zoaretz, Deputy National Director, FIDF
• Mark Manson, Film Producer
• Ari Pinchot, Film Director & President of Crystal City Entertainment
• Michael Morris, President , FIDF Atlanta Chapter
• Caryn Liss, Executive Director, FIDF Atlanta Chapter
