More Tri-State Triumphs: Long Island Highlights 2016

A huge thank you to the entire Long Island community for all the love and outpouring support you have shown the soldiers of Israel. Besides our two annual galas, we hosted community events throughout the region with local initiatives all over the Island to fundraise for IDF soldiers. Our incredible teens stepped up with their own fundraiser to support their brothers and sisters in Israel, and members of our community enjoyed making meaningful connections while visiting the soldiers on trips to Israel.

The soldiers are so lucky to have you!

Warm regards,
Liron Kreitman, Long Island Director

Teen Leadership Family Fun Day in September

More than 100 Long Islanders gathered on Sunday, September 26th at Saddle Rock Park in Great Neck for Long Island teen leadership’s Family Fun Day. Teen leaders shone with an afternoon of games, snacks, Israeli tunes, and even a self-made Shuk. The event raised $3,250 to benefit Israeli role models serving in the IDF and the Long Island chapter doubled those funds with a matching gift. Created by teen leaders Natalie Ben-Josef, Michael Maslavi, Tyler Moradof, Aaron Sheena, and Lior Sanilevich, Family Fun Day provided a wonderful day out for the community.
