Yuli Edelstein, Israel Minister of Public Affairs and the Diaspora Meets with NE Donors

On Yom Hashoa, Sunday evening, April 11, a group of major donors of FIDF met for a dessert reception and intimate conversation with Yuli Edelstein, Israel Minister of Public Affairs and the Diaspora, at the home of Drs. Rosaline and Alan Barron. Mr. Edelstein addressed many of the stimulating and provocative questions posed by the group concerning challenges to Israel from without and from within.
“Imagine - my mother survived Auschwitz - my grandmother died there - and my father escaped to the forest and lived in a hole in the ground to hide from the Nazis. Could they have dreamed that on Yom Hashoah 2010 - thanks to the FIDF- I would be privileged to host the esteemed Minister of Public Affairs and Diaspora, Yuli Edelstein, Member of the Knesset of the State of Israel at my home? Am Yisroel Chai!”
