The New England chapter proudly sponsors capital projects through out Israel
Here are two of the projects that are currently under construction:
Wingate project
Construction on a Sports Complex is proceeding at the Wingate Combat Fitness Center near Netania. This project is being sponsored by the New England, New York and California regions. The entire sports complex development project includes an aerobic hall, self-defense & martial arts hall, indoor basketball court, spin-bike hall and a facility for outdoor events. The project involves expanding and renovating the present gym, new gym equipment, and air conditioning. The photos show the parts of the project being funded by the New England region--the self-defense & martial arts hall and the spin-bike hall.
Keren project
During a New England FIDF Mission to Israel on October 2009, while visiting the “Keren” Artillery base, the commander of the base mentioned how important it would be for the soldiers to have a recreation center where they can get together during the cold nights on the Golan Heights. Soon after that, the soldiers’ dream was realized by a generous donation from the Bressler Family Foundation. The facility is scheduled for completion in May 2010. These pictures depict the recent progress in construction.
