Medical Support
Helping wounded IDF soldiers recovering from their injuries through medical support and concern for their wellbeing, the Medical Support Program provides for soldiers striving to make a full recovery at different hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. It also sponsors the construction of infirmaries on IDF bases.
FIDF recently inaugurated a new infirmary on the Reim military base. The Reim infirmary now serves as a regional medical facility for all soldiers in the Gaza Strip area. The building includes various rooms for physicians, pharmacy supplies, a physiotherapy center, dental clinic, and psychiatric clinic. It also hosts a medical control center, operating 24 hours a day.
FIDF is currently building and renovating more medical facilities across Israel, including on the Ofarit base, and building dental facilities for the soldiers.
